Course Description: As PowerPoint becomes increasingly necessary for far too many corporate presentations, the ability to use it as a way to enhance content decreases.  Slides often resemble doctors’ eye charts with far too much content for viewer ease.  Too many slides can cause audiences to raise skeptical eyebrows as they wonder how they will manage to stay awake through information overload. 

How can PowerPoint be used to add power to the point in a presentation?  This workshop will provide practical tips to help you create slides that are as powerful as your content and delivery.

     Workshop Objectives:  Working with slides,
      participants will:
     1)  Determine what content needs visual
           reinforcement
     2)  Create PowerPoint slides to serve that purpose
     3)  Make them clear and concise with parallel points
     4)  Enhance them with charts that show rather than
           just tell vital data

Course Description:  “It’s not what you say, but how you say it.”  That’s so true of your presentations.  Planning a great presentation is just the first step toward achieving success.  You also need to deliver it with panache and pizazz to achieve a speaking reputation as someone others want to see and hear. 

The five platform skills that matter most for delivering powerful presentations include:

        1.  Movement

        3.   Vocal Variety
        4.  Eye Contact
        5.  Facial Expressions

POWERFUL PRESENTATIONS

Course Description:  People can fear public speaking over dying!  For those who want to conquer this common fear and those who already speak in front of groups but would like to do so with greater ease and effectiveness, this course can help! 

Designed to put participants at ease while challenging them to apply concepts they’re learning (yes, by actually speaking), this course gives them essential tools for affecting others with their sales presentations, public speeches, presentations at meetings, and other speaking opportunities. 

Participants receive solid feedback from recordings, self-assessments, peer reactions, and instructor critiques on their speaking performances (standing and seated).  Satisfied clients report increasing success with each succeeding presentation.

Two areas of concern for speakers are what to say (content) and how to say it (delivery).  A typical process often followed before presenting includes protesting, procrastinating, panicking, and praying.  Yes, praying helps, but we recommend replacing the other three steps with planning, practicing, and polishing.  This proven three-step process helps speakers experience less fear along with more competence and confidence when designing and delivering powerful presentations!
